US military bases in Japan count 26 new coronavirus cases Tuesday
Naval Air Facility Atsugi reported 17 active coronavirus cases from a recent spike, a spokesman said.

Eight cases were confirmed via contact tracing, seven patients tested positive after experiencing coronavirus symptoms and two are new arrivals who tested positive at the airport, spokesman Sam Samuelson told Stars and Stripes by phone Tuesday.Forces Japan, reported three individuals tested positive for the virus, according to a Facebook post.One tested positive after arriving in Japan from the United States and went immediately into quarantine.To the west, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni reported six individuals had tested positive within the previous day, according to a Facebook post.
