About a month ago, Pitt leaders announced that all students, faculty, and other staff would have to be vaccinated by the new year.

News University of Pittsburgh Disenrolls Students who Don't Comply with Vaccine Mandates Wednesday, January 12th 2022, 10:35 AM EST Updated: Wednesday, January 12th 2022, 1:25 PM EST University of Pittsburgh leaders say they're now enforcing their vaccination policy by disenrolling students who've yet to comply with their mask mandate.About a month ago, Pitt leaders announced that all students, faculty, and other staff would have to be vaccinated by the new year.Pitt leaders say 96% of its students are in fact vaccinated, so this will only impact a small number of students.Students who didn't comply or who didn't get an approved exemption were told they would not be allowed to enroll in spring classes, which started on Monday.

Pitt says if students get their shots after being dis-enrolled, they will be allowed to return.
