President Trump often rails against calls for defunding the police — but he apparently has no qualms about defunding the U.S. military.

xml:space="preserve"> xml:space="preserve"> He’s railed against defunding the police, but on Wednesday President Trump gave a thumbs down to funding the U.In a lengthy letter to congressional leaders, Trump said he vetoed the gargantuan National Defense Authorization Act because it doesn’t include a provision to repeal Section 230, an obscure piece of internet law that shields social media companies like Twitter from certain legal action.Trump also said he pulled out the veto pen because he’s not happy the NDAA mandates U.armed forces, potentially opening himself up to the first congressional override of his presidency.
