"Wherever I Go, He Goes"

The second season of The Mandalorian wrapped up back in December 2020 and we learned at the time that a third season wouldn’t be here for a bit because 2021 would see The Book of Boba Fett come out. What they did confirm in the report is that the Book of Boba Fett is best viewed as The Mandalorian 2.So, it’ll be late 2022 before we get a full third season of The Mandalorian but we may see him guesting on Book of Boba Fett before that.Plot Concept: After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe.

The folks at Collider have a new unsourced but likely accurate piece up detailing what they’ve learned from their connections which indicates that the third season of The Mandalorian will start filming at the end of this year as Obi-Wan is currently filming in Los Angeles at The Volume or whatever they’re calling it these days.5 as it’ll have crossover with a few characters beyond Fennec Shand (who recently appeared in Bad Batch).
