Pedestrian killed in crash at Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, truck crash spills oil near Elk Point
A 27-year-old woman from Glenevis was struck and killed by a driver heading west along the West Road.

Police say weather and road conditions do not appear to be a factor in the crash.The local RCMP, a collision analyst and the criminal collision investigation team were involved in the investigation.Meanwhile, a semi-truck with an tank trailer crashed east of Elk Point Sunday afternoon, spilling oil into the ditch toward Whitney Lake and injuring the driver.Mayerthorpe RCMP said Monday it appears a 27-year-old woman from Glenevis was struck and killed by a driver heading west along the West Road.
