Pear and Blackberry Crumble Bars Recipe
Make these delicious oat bars using fresh or frozen blackberries, juicy pears and walnuts. They are perfect for brekkie on-the-go or as an afternoon treat

Advertisement Ingredients FILLING 100g, chilled and cubed, plus extra for the tin p 1 large ripe, peeled, cored and roughly chopped into 1cm chunks p 175g p 1 tbsp p ½, zested, plus 1 tbsp of juice p 1 tsp p BASE 100g p 50g p 30g p ¼ tsp p ¼ tsp p CRUMBLE 50g, chilled and cubed p 40g p 30g p 60g, roughly chopped p 20g p ½ tsp p ½ tsp p Method Step 1 Butter and line a 20cm square cake tin.Once you have finished chilling the base, bake for 20 minutes then leave to cool for 5 minutes.Return to the oven and bake for a further 30 minutes until cooked through.Step 3 For the base, put the 100g of butter, plus the flour, sugar, almonds and spices in a food processor.
