Use or rent a kayak to travel the Clinch River Saturday for a program on the Clinch River and the importance of the waterway to the Manhattan Project .

Join National Park rangers for a relaxing trip along the Clinch River and learn about the importance of the waterway to the Manhattan Project.“This is a wonderful way to both learn about the history of the Manhattan Project and remain active all while keeping socially distant,” a news release from the Manhattan Project National Historical Park stated.Manhattan Project National Historical Park will present the free program on Saturday, June 12, at 10 a.During the program, rangers will discuss the history of the Manhattan Project and the connection it has to the Clinch River.
