Ohio reports 6,808 new coronavirus cases, 59 deaths: Sunday update
The Ohio Department of Health reported Sunday that the number of confirmed or probable infections of the novel coronavirus had risen to 721,481, up 6,808 since Saturday.

COVID-19 hospitalizations statewide rose by 165 in the past 24 hours, which is lower than the 21-day rolling average of 325 daily hospitalizations.Twenty-three COVID-19 patients were transferred to the ICU in the past 24 hours, also down from the 21-day rolling average of 36.Sunday’s case count is also less than the 21-day rolling average, which currently sits at 7,560 cases.Ohio's coronavirus case numbers are at 721,481 as of Sunday's update.
