North Bromsgrove High School pupils 'flexing their mussels' as part of 'Fish Heroes' campaign North Bromsgrove School pupils Lottie Seager, Charlie Lewis and Dan Walsh, all 15 prepare to cook mussels.Picture by Marcus Mingins 4821001MMR copyright Bullivant Media STUDENTS at North Bromsgrove High School had a taste of Cornwall after being given the chance to prepare, cook and eat fresh mussels by The Food Teachers’ Centre Fish Hero programme.The ‘Fish Heroes’ campaign aims to ensure every child gets a chance to prepare, cook and eat fish before they leave school.The Jamie Oliver recipe included chilli, garlic, tomatoes and fresh rosemary grown on the school site.

“Who knows, the next Jamie Oliver may come from Bromsgrove.The students studying the popular GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition course spent the day preparing and tasting the fresh Cornish mussels and made a dish called ‘Angry Mussels’.
