Nigeria on brink of collapse, says NULGE President
The National President of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Ambali Olatunji, has said that Nigeria is drifting towards collapse and no longer the country the citizens dream of.

2nd August 2022 2nd August 2022 The National President of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Ambali Olatunji, has said that Nigeria is drifting towards collapse and no longer the country the citizens dream of.The NULGE president urged the local government workers to vote only leaders who are in support of local government autonomy.Olatunji blamed the current challenge of insecurity, joblessness, poverty, insurrection witnessed in the country on poor management in local government administration.He called on the APC, PDP and Labour Party presidential candidates to speak on local government autonomy, adding that a vote for local government autonomy is a vote for development.

Olatunji who made the remarks at the 7th State Quadrennial Inauguration of the newly elected Executives to run the affairs of NULGE in Kogi State, disclosed that the country is on the brink of collapse.He charged the new NULGE leadership in Kogi state to be open, transparent, carry everyone along on board of leadership, urging them to continue to be dutiful in service to the members.
