New Italian restaurant Bar Italia opening at Lindey’s Lake House location in Lakewood

For the better part of the fall, the scuttlebutt around Lakewood’s culinary scene had to do with changes afoot at Detroit Avenue restaurant Lindey’s Lake House, which opened its doors in 2019.

What we realized is while the Lindey’s Lake House menu doesn’t lend itself that well to carryout, what was working were the pasta dishes we added to the menu during the shutdown.“What we also learned was while Lindey’s Lake House in The Flats on the water does extremely well, the concept never really worked in Lakewood,” Doody said.
