THE MET OFFICE has extended its warnings again as heavy snow and ice are expected to batter Britain on Thursday in a freezing winter blast.

” The Met Office warned there is “no question” there will be travel disruptions in Scotland, and concerns are rife for motorists on motorways which fall right in the middle of the warning area.Oliver Claydon from the Met Office said: “These are significant accumulations of snow we are predicting.
