Man allegedly assaulted in car park after being accused of 'pretending' to be disabled
The incident happened after a member of the public asked to see his wife's blue badge

The man's wife, who is disabled, claimed her husband was pushed against a parked car and called a "pretender" after he parked in a disabled bay at Cyfarthfa Retail Park in Merthyr Tydfil.I went into the retail park with my daughter because she helps me.A spokeswoman from South Wales Police said: "Shortly after 2pm on Saturday, September, 11 South Wales Police responded to reports of an assault that occurred at Cyfarthfa Retail Park’s car park, Merthyr Tydfil."Enquiries are still ongoing into the incident, and if anyone has any information they are asked to contact South Wales Police quoting reference 2100320541.
