(AP) An investigation by the Professional Standards Unit found that Detective Joshua Jaynes violated department procedures for search-warrant preparation and truthfulness, the Louisville Courier Journal reported Tuesday.The officer who fired the fatal shot, Detective Myles Cosgrove, was also served with a pre-termination letter, his attorney Thomas Clay told the Louisville Courier Journal.Jaynes will go before interim Chief Yvette Gentry and her staff Thursday for a hearing, the Courier Journal said.The job of the detective who obtained the no-knock warrant that ended in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor is on the chopping block.
