Staff Reports Published: 9/23/2020 10:40:36 PM Modified: 9/23/2020 10:45:36 PM LEBANON — Playing its third game in five days, the Lebanon High boys soccer team used two second-half goals Wednesday afternoon to defeat visiting Stevens, 2-0.In the final match against Matt Burroughs from Derryfield Country Club, the Lebanon High graduate made a couple of quick birdies on the first nine holes to get a lead going.Pelletier made par on the 15th hole of the match after Burroughs missed the green long and couldn’t get up and down, leaving the Lebanon High graduate a 4-and-3 winner.— Carter Country Club’s Pat Pelletier won the New Hampshire Golf Association’s Mid-Amateur Match Play Championship at Green Meadow Golf Club on Wednesday with a pair of match wins.

Pelletier started the day off with a 5-and-3 semifinal victory over Green Meadow’s Jeff Monahan.It is also the second consecutive championship win for Pelletier in an NHGA tournament held at Green Meadow, following his Stroke Play Championship win in 2019.
