p One man was killed in a shoot-out with bandits as they attempted to recover more than 100 head of cattle that had been stolen in Funan Qumbi in Sololo Ward, Marsabit County.The bandits ambushed herders who were grazing their livestock and made away with more than 100 head of cattle."One herder was killed during the attack and more than 100 head of cattle stolen but a team of security officers has been dispatched and is currently in hot pursuit of the bandits," Mr Kyeti said in a phone interview with Nation.A similar attack took place two weeks ago on January 14, 2021 at Funa Idha village in Sololo where more than 1,000 head of cattle were stolen and one person killed.
