CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ice fishermen are chafing to get out on the ice right now, and some have been spotted cutting holes in the smaller ponds and lakes, including Wallace Lake in Berea.Rainbow trout were stocked in Wallace Lake recently, and it’s understandable fishermen want to hook a few of the pan-sized fish.Fishermen can safely fish for the stocked trout by cutting holes along the shoreline in areas of the lake that drop off quickly, or around the platforms on the Wallace Lake shoreline.Wallace Lake in Berea received 1,400 pounds of rainbow trout recently, as well as Ranger Lake.
