FG will implement report on human trafficking – Osinbajo
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday in Abuja, said the Federal Government will implement the recommendations of the 2022 Trafficking in Persons Report released on July 19.

Osinbajo said this at the 2022 World Day Against Human Trafficking event organised by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons in conjunction with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development.In his address on the theme ‘Use and Abuse of Technology,’ Osinbajo, who was represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Adeola Ipaye, said the recommendations will be studied and implemented He said, “Let me also note that the recommendations of this 22nd Trafficking in Persons Report on human trafficking released on July 19, 2022, by the US government, which is here to stimulate interactions and creating partnerships is very well received.” Related News Social media fastest means of human trafficking - NAPTIP It’s sad clerics also engage in human trafficking –NAPTIP DG Customs rescue three trafficked teenagers, impound rice, petrol The Vice President who commended NAPTIP and its partners for their work also noted that the government is playing its part at the policy level.The Non-Governmental Organisation said this at a press briefing held to commemorate World Day Against Human Trafficking with the themed, ‘Use and Abuse of Technology’, in Yaba Lagos on Monday.
