Read more: Go here to read all the latest stories from the courts in Wales Mrs Haines said she felt "sickened to her stomach" after seeing her ex partner on CCTV and now no longer feels safe in her own home.Following the break-up, the defendant was jailed in 2019 after threatening to kill Mrs Haines and Mr Elliott when he entered their house by smashing through a bay window, picked up two knives and threatened them.Prosecutor Laurence Jones said Haines was made subject to a restraining order for two years but breached that after attending Mrs Haines' home, and he received a custodial sentence.Mr Jones said: "(Mrs Haines) could see knives stuck in the chopping board and kitchen cupboards.

In a victim personal statement read out to the court, Mrs Haines said: "I feel like he has been making my life hell since the split.Sentencing, Recorder Duncan Bould said: "On two or three occasions you have sought to take out on (Mrs Haines) and her new partner your anger and aggression because of the breakdown of that relationship, which you take no responsibility for.
