5th August 2022 5th August 2022 A former Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Information, Chijoke Edeoga, on Thursday, emerged winner of the governorship primary election of the Labour Party in Enugu State.Related News I once did make-up while battling labour pains — Lola Maja He said, “A total of 85 delegates were accredited for the primary election.“By the powers conferred on me as the Chairman of the Enugu State Governorship Electoral Committee, I, Kennedy Ahanudu, declare Chijoke Edeoga, having scored the highest number of votes cast, the winner of the Labour Party Governorship Primary election in Enugu State.” The primary election was sequel to the withdrawal of the former governorship candidate of the party, Mr Casmir Agbo, from the race.
The party’s Deputy National Secretary and the Chairman, Enugu State Governorship Electoral Committee, Kennedy Ahanudu, who declared the result of the primary, said Edeoga scored the highest number of votes cast during the election.Out of the 85, a total of 81 delegates voted for Chijoke Edeoga.
