Edmonton drivers could be required to give cyclists more space this fall
Currently drivers just need to leave a safe distance between their vehicle and cyclists when passing, the new bylaw would clarify the exact amount of space required. At least one metre of space would be required on roads with speeds below 60 kilometres per hour.
