Chicago Teachers Union, school district announce plan to reopen high schools on April 19

With COVID-19 positivity and case rates in the city rising again following the resumption of in-person learning in elementary schools and the lifting of restrictions on business, the CTU is working closely with school officials to reopen high schools, in line with Governor Pritzker’s plans to accelerate statewide reopening plans to boost the economy.
