4 dead in domestic violence shooting in Houston, sheriff says

Four people were shot and killed in a domestic violence incident in Houston on Wednesday that included a man firing at police before shooting himself.

Officers then found two dead woman and two dead men, including the man who shot himself.According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, officers responded to a home around 3:15 after a call about a shooting.Gonzalez said that none of the officers who responded to the call were injured and none fired their guns.The sheriff said at a news conference he believes the 49-year-old man who shot himself was the boyfriend of one of the dead women and the other woman and man were her adult children.

The sheriff described the older man as “the aggressor,” but added that their investigation was ongoing and multiple guns had been found at the scene.Ribeiro/for New York Daily News) After SWAT negotiated with the gunman, he shot himself as they entered the home.
